Well, I've been sitting here researching Japanese media for 3 hours and I've just about had enough. One thing, however, struck me while i was pursuing my schoolwork. I caught a glimpse of a poster for a movie known as "Seven Samurai" and have downloaded a copy for my own personal viewing. Upon walking into my living room and staring at a black and white image a friend of the family created for us while teaching in British Columbia: A black and white print of a samurai. Entirely untraditional, it is dark and there isn't much to the image, and yet it remains one of my favorites. I have decided that my work will likely take a turn towards the fantastical , and I've been inspired to begin drawing again after a brief hiatus of a month or two (yeah, not actually brief ).
